Greeting From Our Presiding Elder

Greetings in His Name!
I am honored to serve the people of God in Central North Carolina. As the newly appointed Presiding Elder of the Sanford District I have the honor of serving along with the twenty-two Pastors assigned to this area. Our goal is to encourage believers, minister to the God sensitive seekers looking to find God, and win the world for Jesus The Christ. We the district members will do our best to be the best Christians we can be, God being our help.

More people than ever before are in desperate need of hope, peace, joy, and salvation that our Christian faith can offer. We have through Jesus the peace available the people of God need in these difficult times. A peace that only Jesus can give.

We are more than willing and happy to share our joy in Jesus with others. We are especially committed to sharing with youth and senior members of our society who are often overlooked or forgotten in this busy and fast moving world we live.

I believe God is concerned about all of us and our well-being. To this end we will seek to be “The Light of Jesus in Central North Carolina to all of God’s people.” We are here to serve all of the people of God. We believe it is our responsibility to follow the word of God as written in “Matthew 5:14–16 (NRSV) You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
